Jody Molina, aka dj OP-Mode, has been musically inclined his entire life. A self taught musician who grew up in West Michigan, Jody learned to play the guitar, drums and piano at an early age. Later, joining punk rock band '16 Valve' as a guitarist, Jody was introduced to the life of a performer, touring and releasing recordings until the group disbanded in 1996. Driven to continue expanding his musical horizons, Jody went on to study jazz music at Grand Rapids Community College in west Michigan

It was during this faze of his life that Jody was introduced to the world of electronic music. Influenced by the sounds of Plastic Man, Moby, Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers, this newly discovered music fascinated Jody from the beginning. However, it wasn't until a fateful night in Chicago, at legendary nightspot 'The Warehouse', that Jody would finally find his calling. It was at The Warehouse that Jody was first introduced to house music. Instantly taken with this newly discovered sound, Jody had found his calling and dj OP-Mode soon emerged.

Born out of a passion to expose people to the music that had captured his own mind, body and soul, OP-Mode committed himself to nothing less than perfection in every aspect of his emerging dj career. Today, seven years later, OP-Mode has become a name known throughout the Midwest region.
